The USGS MSL Blog is going to continue! This is excellent news.
Also in the excellent news department, I hear that the latest-site problem with the MSL metadata has now been fixed! We still have to wait for the NAIF SPICE MSL metadata to be updated, which happens twice a day; but when it gets updated now, it should include the latest site again. I'm very happy about this.

There is a May 2 update of Field Notes from Mars: Opportunity is approaching an area of interest with an Aluminum Hydroxide signature seen from orbit. (There appear to be some missing images in the article at the moment, but the oblique drive map is great.) Even if that hadn't been confirmed online, Opportunity's Sol 3650 Pancam images look pretty intriguing.
